World Industrial And Cotton Exposition Medal, Rulau LA-NO-57B, MS64 BN

Description

I have for sale a souvenir medal that commemorates the 1884-85 World's Industrial and Cotton Exposition that was held in New Orleans, Louisiana.  This medal is bronze, it is 1 1/4 inch in diameter, encapsulated by the Numismatic Guaranty company and graded MS 64 BN by them.  This medal is listed in the Standard Catalog of U.S. Tokens by Rulau & the NGC label list the Rulau # as LA-NO-57B.  The white you see in the photos are a flash back from the camera.  The medal obverse shows the main building in the center, at the top rim it reads THE MAIN BUILDING and below the building it reads NEW ORLEANS - 1884 '85.  On the reverse, inside a wreath, it reads SOUVENIR - OF THE - WORLDS - INDUSTRIAL - AND - COTTON - EXPOSITION.  Please see more in my EBAY STORE at TE Collectables.  (18,611 NRR)
