VINTAGE TARPON SPRINGS FLORIDA SPONGE FLEET SOUVENIR STATE TRAVEL WATER DECAL

This great retro water decal is a souvenir of TARPON SPRINGS, FLORIDA and commemorates the Sponge Fishing industry, a huge business in the area in the 1960s and 70s.
This decal is brightly colored with highly detailed artwork that showcases the SPONGE FLEET. It is in fairly good condition but has a number of creases in the center of the artwork, as well as light curving, and some foxing at the bottom, as you can see in the scan. Despite these flaws, this is a rare find that is suitable for framing or display. It measures 3 1/2" wide by 3 1/4" tall.
