    Description

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE KIT!
You get the 3D printed parts only.
If you don't know what a CG is, or why it's important, please don't try building a flying model from this kit.
If you want something with fewer tiny parts that'll be a bit easier to assemble, look here:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/303627247546
This kit will build into a lighter weight model with better detail than my other kit, but it
    will
require you to do some advanced modeling, such as cutting fin slots and determining other assembly steps. Note: Color of the small parts may vary; the large parts will be white.
Be the hit of your rocket club by flying a model of SpaceX's first manned flight! This is a set of 3D printed parts to build your own FLYING model of SpaceX's Crew Dragon with Falcon booster. Two astronauts were launched to the International Space Station in a historic first on May 30, 2020, ending a long drought of US manned launch capability.
It's approximately 1/90th scale. The spacecraft itself (with "trunk") is about 3 1/2" tall; the complete rocket when built according to plans is about 27.5" tall and 1.6" in diameter.
If you're looking for SpaceX's Starship (Formerly the BFR), you'll find it here:

THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE KIT!
In addition to the 3D printed parts in this kit, you will need:
Estes BT-60 tubing (Inner Diameter: 1.595" Outer Diameter: 1.637"), 18" long.
Estes BT-60 tubing (Inner Diameter: 1.595" Outer Diameter: 1.637"), 5.8" long.
    1 BT-60 coupler.
Estes BT-50 tubing (Inner Diameter: 0.950", Outer Diameter: 0.976"), 4" long, for motor mount.
    2 ea. centering rings, BT-50 to BT-60.
Motor hook or motor retention of your choice.
18" parachute, shock cord, and shock cord mount.
Epoxy (Recommended: White glue will not stick to plastic parts.).
Through the wall fins are a
    necessity
! You'll have to make your own decals, if you want them.
You can get all the parts you need from Apogee Rockets, my favorite rocket shop.
    Here's what you get:
    The spacecraft with "trunk" attached.
    4 landing legs.
    4 grid fins.
4 clear plastic fins for flight (The fins are covered with blue plastic masking in the photo; may have brown paper masking).
3 Interstage "clamps" (the teardrop shaped parts). I don't really know what these parts should be called.
Cable tunnels for first and second stages.
A 3/16" conformal launch lug with molded standoff.
A diagram with critical dimensions and CG marked. You will have to do your own measuring, marking, and cutting, including fin slots.
All parts are as printed, unassembled and unpainted. The small parts will need minimal to no cleanup. The larger parts will need some cleanup and sanding for an attractive model. They will have visible layer lines. May have some small flaws from the printing process, such as bumps or small voids. Recommended for experienced modelers over 12. Handling time is based on printing to order and may be shorter.
This is a kit for the Master Builder. If you're familiar with scratch-building, you can build either a highly detailed display model (without clear fins) or a flying model (with the included clear fins).
The prototype flies very well on D12-3 and D12-5 motors. Can also be flown on 24mm Aerotech motors for more altitude.
I assume ZERO responsibility for poor assembly or bad flights. Build well, fly wisely!
Original design by Zastro, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1802512, heavily modified by me.
Caution: Possible choking hazard. Keep away from children under 3!
Note: Don't leave this in a hot car! It may soften and distort.
