INCREDIBLE and expensively made poster for three bands that can be hung three different ways (four, if you're REALLY creative), using a stunning, flat silver ink, along with a cool, contrasted graphic in black and neon olive - printed on glossy, coated stock. The magnificent Flaming Lips, the late great Codeine (then featuring alumni from June of 44), and the criminally underrated Grifters - at ONE show. They don't book 'em like this anymore. Transmissions From The Satellite Heart
Tour (probably the impetus for the poster's satellite graphic). As fans know, it would take this tour - and nearly a year's time - before the CD would spawn a Top 40 hit, "She Don't Use Jelly." So fans of this tour were hearing it here first. As borderless as space, this poster is printed on thick, glossy card stock and was designed and created by Thomas Scott of Eye Noise. VERY COOL. All of the details run in varying directions while the spacey sputnik floats without poles in the center - allowing you to anchor it on any wall, in any direction you want. You'll have the art police scratching their heads over this one - undecided whether to give you a citation or an award. A MEGA-RARE and historic item from the early 90s. MINT CONDITION
