A few years back, Estes introduced the Pro Series II line of mid-power rockets and then abruptly discontinued them. These were mid-power designs that flew great on F to G and even small H motors. These kits are no longer made and the originals are crazy expensive collector's items.  This kit is a clone of the original, using the same genuine Estes tubes, combined with my laser-cut fins and rings.
This kit includes an Estes 2.5" diameter nosecone, a slotted and two unslotted, 15.5" long tubes, two couplers, a 29mm motor tube and three laser cut, baltic birch fins and three 2.5" centering rings. I also include 6 feet of 750lb test Kevlar shock cord and two 1/4" launch lugs. You will need to provide a parachute and motor retention of your choice.
Instructions for this kit are available on the Estes website, but I also include an assembly drawing showing an exploded view of the rocket to aid assembly. This is not a beginner's kit, but is easy to assemble if you have built a mid-power rocket before.
If you are into the Pro Series II rockets like I am, this is a must-have kit that makes an impression at any launch and can fly on a variety of F and G motors - and even get you your Level One on an H if you are careful.
