Estes Pro Series II 9715 Panavia Clone Kit. Estes parts. 2.5" dia. 40" tall!. Condition is "New".
A few years back, Estes introduced the Pro Series II line of mid-power rockets. The familiar Argent, Partizon, Leviathan and Ventris were available on store shelves. Later, Estes added 3 more models to the line-up that were only available through mail-order. Of these kits, my personal favorite was the Panavia. This is a clone of that kit using genuine Estes Pro Series II parts and my laser-cut fins and rings.
This kit includes an Estes 2.5" diameter nosecone, slotted and unslotted tubes, a coupler, 29mm motor tube and three laser cut, baltic birch fins in the Argent pattern and three 2.5" centering rings. I also include 6 feet of 750lb test Kevlar shock cord and two 1/4" launch lugs. You will need to provide a parachute and motor retention of your choice.
No instructions are available for this Pro-series kit on the Estes website, so I include an assembly drawing showing an exploded view of the rocket to aid assembly. This is not a beginner's kit, but is easy to assemble if you have built a mid-power rocket before.
If you are into the Pro Series II rockets like I am, tjis is a must-have kit that will blow the barn doors off on F and G motors.
